About the Book: Education implies the imparting of certain traits, skills and knowledge, and also the application & extension of knowledge -- that can be grasped by the students at various stages of their mental development and dexterity. Moreso, different educational streams provide somewhat different methods of looking at the same phenomena, understanding the nature of such phenomena and, thus, manipulating the properties of these phenomena.
The education system must visualise the ultimate purpose for grooming the students. This requires looking at 'education' in a holistic sense, and setting graduated standards for the achievement of these traits, skills etc by the students -- such an approach to education will eventually remove the flaws in our existing examination system. The Author’s Proposal for an online examination system to prevent frequent leakages of Question Papers, was accepted and implemented by CAT-2009.
